Welcome to Money Sick a place where you can read about anything pertaining to the issues of Money. How to make money where to find money, secrets of making money increasing your business sales, sell products and how you can save money and so on.
This is a common scene at Woodlands Old Town near. It is not an unfamilar place to me. In fact it is a place which I used to go very often during those days where Richard and I had cars and it was also a place where I came here with my family when I was young. Going there so often and yet I do not know what this place is really called.
The faces of the ‘fortune tellers’ looked different everytime I went there. There were at least 2 fortune tellers there. Are they really fortune tellers? How to prove that they are really professional fortune tellers and not cheaters? Insurance have examinations and license. Real estate agents also have examinations and license. What about fortune tellers? Perhaps their money making opportunities will soon end when government soon take steps like what the insurance agents used to go through.
Another name for fortune teller is Feng Shui Master. In the past people who sell insurance are called insurance agents. Today insurance agents have higher standards must pass more examinations and must have better qualification. Though the job scope is the same the title is no longer insurance agents. Insurance agents are now known as Financial Advisers. People who have passed all the six examinations will be accredited with the title Financial Planner or AFP if partial pass or have not completed the whole set of examinations. As long as you are helping people to plan their money you are called Financial Planner. To the ignorant people you would not know what are the proper steps to be a real Financial Planner. Some real estate agents claimed themselves to be financial planner when they have no certification to proof it at all.
One fortune-teller is busy predicting the future of his client. Another fortune-teller which is this one is busy counting money having no one to attend to. I saw lots of $10 notes. How did these fortune-tellers charge their clients or customers? My parents used to frequent fortune-tellers. One of the reason for seeking fortune-tellers is wealth. Everybody want to be rich. Everybody want numbers and to strike rich. A common question is to ask the fortune-teller about their wealth. ?. If these people go to the temple they would call it ??(ask for wealth) to the temple fortune-teller.
This is a world about making money for a living. You make use of your expertise to earn a living. You are good at something but there are always better ones than you. If you want to excel in your area of expertise you need to upgrade your knowledge and be something special to other people. What is it that you are more unique than other people? Why should people come to you and not others? How can people believe you or trust you?
These fortune-tellers are not begging for money. They are doing a legitimate business so to speak but it is not the ideal for placing just any tables anywhere in public. But that is life perhaps back home they have many mouths to feed and the sick is awaiting him for money to seek medical treatment. Whichever the story everybody has their own life and own story. Do you want to deliver your hard-earn money to such people just to let them ‘predict’ or tell you what will happen to your life? If they can give you numbers to strike 4Ds or TOTO ask them to give themselves numbers so that they can be rich and they do not need to work anymore. If fortune-tellers are that great there would not be so many and so many poor people in this world too. What is the purpose of being a fortune-teller? How can they really help people to improve their life? I no longer go for fortune-telling. I choose not to and I do not want to donate my money to fortune-tellers. Why must we let other people predict your when your future lies in your own hands?
